A note about Shades of Color We have been putting a lot of our over-dyed flosses and yarns and hand-dyed fabrics on the website lately. One thing to be aware of is that the way that the color appears on your laptop or your desktop screen is different from us and other people. While it might look perfect for what you have in mind, it might not look that way when you get it home. Something that looks a little yellow when we put it on the website, might appear a little orange on your screen, and a little pink on someone else's. It's like when you see something in the early morning light outside versus the kind of light you might have at the office or in the light of a street lamp. It's just different, and we've provided a verbal description of the color that perhaps describes it a little more in-depth. We can send you snippets of a color if you need to compare different shades of colors.
For hand-dyed fabrics and hand-dyed threads, there is some variation between dye lots to be expected. Please order all the floss you need to finish a project! And hand-dyed fabric does have some variation on the fabric itself - this is a normal part of the dyeing process.
